If you are anything like me making breakfast is a daily chore. I dream of elaborate dinners and fabulous lunches, but breakfast (aside from my morning espresso) I dread. One method I use to combat this sad phenomenon is to make smoothies. I jam pack them with goodness and gulp them down knowing that they will sustain me until my next more enjoyable meal. This would also make a great mid-morning, mid-afternoon or any-time snack!

Dine Out: Brasserie Kensington

Located above their sister restaurant, Winebar Kensington, on Kensington Road, the Brasserie is a cozy and inviting space. Tables of warm, dark wood are clustered near the large front window, and a banquette overlooks the open kitchen at the back. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies, and happy to help us pick items on the menu that would work for a Celiac.
